it's been forever. how's it going?

i'm doing really well. i've been debating with closing this account, cuz i don't have artistic talent, but i really like having a connection with people who actually do have talent. i enjoy the pretty pictures, essentially.

plus it reminds me of who i was before everything changed. it lets me remember my naive, innocent self... albeit angsty-as-fuck. it's kinda sad to reread my crappy poetry, i mean, i wasted so much time hating myself...such a shame. but it's over and i moved on.

first year of college was so very mind opening. a lot of firsts happened in this last nine months, it's crazy to think about. i made a lot of important decisions; turned vege, took japanese, signed up for mandarin for the fall (*squee*), sadly grew away from a bunch of the greatest friends i've ever had, fell in love, got my heart broken (again, lol), made some new friends, and mapped out the next 20-25 years of my life.

i never thought i'd try to plan my future, but ehhh.

oh, and i have a livejournal now. bring on the angst!
